Guest Speaker - Peter Cummiskey (Former CEO - QSport)

Peter recently finished a 25 year tenure as CEO of Q-Sport based at Sport House in Milton. In his time as Q-Sport CEO, Peter has been the face and voice for organised sport overall since the mid-1990s, well know to industry and government circles alike. Originally asked by Q-Sport back in late 1996 to do some work on sponorship for the organisation for two months, he ended up as the CEO for 25 years. 

Peter has an intimate knowledge of the way funding is distributed across the sporting community in Queensland, and has been the key driver behind Q-Sport securing a significant amount of financial support from a large portfolio of sponsorship partners. 

Peter will provide an insightful, but entertaining talk on "The future of Community Sport in Queensland", based on his vast experience and first hand knowledge of the sporting landscape in Queensland, and what it means for community clubs in the future. 

Guest Speaker - Terry Johnston (Director of Brand Ambassadors / Sponsorship Ready)

Terry worked for Lion (XXXX) for 12 years in a senior sales role and subsequently worked in leveraging many national and state sponsorships. He was General Manager – Commercial for the North Queensland Cowboys for 6 years, and for the last 10 years he has operated his sports marketing consulting business – Brand Ambassadors Pty Ltd and Sponsorship Ready. 

Terry will deliver a captivating presentation focused on helping sporting clubs create brand value and become "sponsorship ready" to create partnership and sponsorship opportunities for your club!
