Course Prerequisites

Participants must be a minimum of 16 years old

Parental approval required for anyone under the age of 18 years old

State Umpire accreditation required to attain State Referee Accreditation

State Referees wishing to attend the course as a "refresher" must contact the TTQ office to register manually. 

Subject to available spaces - non-state umpires welcome to attend to gain Referee knowledge

Course Outline

This is the ITTF Basic Referees Course, which gives a basic introduction to the skills and knowledge required to be an effective referee, including:

• Refereeing responsibilities
• Draws and round robins
• Laws and Regulations
• Exam

This will be the first stage for suitably qualified and experienced Umpires seeking accreditation at the State Referee Award.

Current Referees and Umpires welcome to attend to REFRESH their skills and knowledge for FREE.

Lunch & Afternoon tea included.
