Table Tennis Queensland are pleased to announce the appointment of Zoe Gillespie as the new Participation, Events & Marketing Officer at TTQ. 

This position has been created thanks to the active industry funding received from the QLD Department of Sport & Recreation to deliver a pathways and participation strategy for table tennis in Queensland over the next 18 months. 

In this role, Zoe will primarily be working closely with schools across Queensland to create participation opportunities for primary and secondary school students to play table tennis. 

In addition, she will be working with TTQ and affiliated clubs to improve pathway and development opportunities for young junior players across Queensland. 

Zoe has been engaged for a 12-month term in 2025 with an opportunity to extend the role beyond 2025, subject to funding and project outcomes. 

She joins TTQ with a Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations) from Massey University in Auckland and has previous sport industry experience with Swimming New Zealand and Gymnastics New Zealand as an intern during her tertiary studies in Auckland. 

Zoe has recently worked as a Public Relations consultant in Auckland and has returned to Brisbane to be closer to friends and family. 

We are excited to have Zoe join TTQ as Participation, Events & Marketing Officer, and look forward to supporting her to deliver some great outcomes for our participation and pathways strategy in 2025.
